In Motion

This originally started out as background for another painting I have in mind. It turns out my painting buddy, her husband and I all liked it so well that I decided to keep it as a painting. I love the textures and colors in this painting and can picture so many different things in this. What do you see?

About Me

My original love was the performing arts. I grew up dancing, and it was my dream to be a professional ballet dancer. That was not to be so I turned to other forms of creativity. It's only been within the past few years that I discovered painting. I'd forgotten how much I loved drawing as a child. Maybe this is a passion re-awakened! I'm a self-taught artist and always looking to learn new techniques. One of the things I've always classified myself as is a "perpetual student". I love learning, and I love experimenting with new techniques. For me, this is one of the best parts of art; experiencing new things is more important to me than the finished piece. So you never know what I'll end up with. Hope you'll enjoy the experience too!
