Its a snowy day out today so it was a good day to experiment with color and techniques.  This brings to my mind an image yet I haven't yet placed what it is it reminds me of. Possibly fireworks; possibly the way glazes flow together when fired in the kiln. Once I figure it out, this may be retitled.  While the technique didn't turn out quite like I expected, it was a fun painting and perfect for this snowy day. Thanks for looking.

This painting started out as an experiment in techniques. Often when I haven't painted in a while, that's what gets me going again.  I love the combination of magenta, turquoise and red.  When I stood back and looked at this, I felt like I was seeing a river running through the bottom and could imagine the magenta and turquoise as the steam coming from it.  Thanks for looking.
